Homebrew Relaxer

A year ago I found a great way relax my hair without using a chemical. And only using everyday kitchen stuff.

1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 egg

Prep:
1. I take a clean spray bottle and pour in the milk.
2. In a small mixing bowl, add egg "white" and lemon juice
3. Mix til completely whipped

Process:
1. I spray the milk into hair til soaked.
2. I put on a shower cap and sit under the dryer for 15-30 mins. (depending on the hair type.)
3. I rinse out the milk completely.
4. Add the whipped cream of egg and lemon juice.
5. Leave in for 10 mins and rinse.

Blow Dry Hair and style as usual.

Voice Yourself

I'm here to hear your opinions about some general hair care tips and product. Voice your self. Take time out of your busy schedule to discuss your hair type and what works or don't work for you. You ever know if someone just like you searching the internet trying to find a solution. Let the community help and voice yourself. For example, my hair is course, dry, and thick. My end always break and I didn't know why. I tried everything from Dr. Miracle to Motions Products and got the same results in the end. Then one day I started took out a note and started writing ever product I ever used in my hair. I made three columns: Product, Time-Span, and Results. In the product column I listed the name, in the time-span column I listed how long the product last the way it expected/unexpected, and in the results I listed the outcome. In the end after research, discovered that relaxers (lye/no-lye) doesn't work in everyone's hair. About 67% of Afro hair gets severely damaged after using chemicals correctly. So I closed my hair and shed severely tears as I allow Wal-Mart cut my hair into a afro. After the first month, I realized my hair was growing twice as fast than usual. Today after two years, I happy with the results. Finally I have beautiful long curly hair.
